March 8-11: Ruta Maya Cross Country
Canoe Race: Be here for the BIG start and finish of this race.
Sign up for any of our tours packages during this time and we will
be sure to include our biggest sporting event of the year.
September 10-21: "Belize
Independence Festivals": This is a week and a half of
parades, displays, and parties. Come join Belize in celebrating
its Bi-Centennial.
October 31-November 7 - All-Saints Day Cultural
Expedition": "Dia de los Muertos" (also
known as Halloween). Experience this traditional Hispanic-Mayan
commemoration by trick-or-treating for "Espachat", a
Mayan pudding drink; and visiting the decorated cemetery. Then
visit Mayan Pottery Caves, jungle rivers, finishing this
interesting week with a visit to the Jungle Lodge at Tikal during
the full moon. |
